navigation--see bottom

This seventh SXNS conference will bring together researchers studying surfaces of solid, liquid, and soft condensed materials (including multilayers) via neutron and x-ray (either hard, soft, or EUV) scattering techniques. Of special interest is the structure of nanoscale materials. Topics of interest include

growth, structure, and roughness of surfaces and interfaces

magnetism of layered materials and interfaces

surfaces and interfaces of liquids and soft condensed matter

soft x-ray and EUV scattering

interfaces in nanostructured matter

coherent scattering techniques

dynamic and inelastic scattering techniques at interfaces

polarized neutron and x-ray scattering

membranes and biologically active interfaces
